These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of ryanmehaffey.com (the "Site"), operated by Friends of Ryan Mehaffey ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms.

Eligibility

The Site is intended for residents of the United States who are 18 years of age or older. By using the Site you represent that you meet these requirements.

Contributions

All contributions are subject to applicable federal and state campaign-finance law, including FEC rules and disclosure obligations. You represent that:

  • The contribution is made from your own funds and not those of another person;
  • You are a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident;
  • You are not a federal contractor;
  • You are at least 18 years of age.

Contributions to Friends of Ryan Mehaffey are not tax-deductible for federal income tax purposes.

Text Messaging (SMS) Program

If you give us your phone number and check the consent box on our Contact, Volunteer or Endorse forms, Friends of Ryan Mehaffey may send you calls and text messages about the campaign, including updates, events, volunteer opportunities, and requests for donation.

Consent is given through the disclosure shown at the point we collect your number: "By providing your telephone number and checking this box, you consent to receive calls and text messages. Msg & data rates may apply. Msg frequency may vary. Messaging may include requests for donation. Reply "STOP" to opt-out & "HELP" for help. Messages are sent by Friends of Ryan Mehaffey."

  • Consent is not a condition of contacting the campaign, volunteering, or using the Site.
  • Message frequency may vary.
  • Message and data rates may apply from your carrier.
  • To opt out, reply STOP to any message. For help, reply HELP or email [email protected].

How we handle your messaging opt-in data is described in our Privacy Policy, including our commitment not to share or sell your opt-in data except as required by law.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Site for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site or its data
  • Interfere with the Site's operation
  • Submit false or fraudulent contribution or contact information

Intellectual Property

All Site content, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of Friends of Ryan Mehaffey or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark law. You may share content via the Site's built-in sharing tools but may not copy or reuse it for commercial purposes without written permission.
